After you have enabled Personal Hotspot once, it will appear on the first page of Settings app, and you won’t have to travel through multiple panes to enable or disable it. This will save your iPhone battery from draining.
The hotspot will automatically turn off after staying idle for more than an hour. You can connect a maximum of five devices. It will also show the number of devices connected. Once any device connects to your personal hotspot, the status bar on your iPhone will turn blue. It will have the same name as your iPhone. You can now connect any device by selecting the wi-fi network we created above. It will turn on all the radios that are turned on at the moment and also allow you to turn on the ones that are off if desired. You will then be asked how do you want to enable the mobile hotspot.
